Porches
A front porch is the first thing a house shows the street, and the stairs are the part that wears out first. Level Line builds new front porches and stairs and rebuilds existing ones, on footings and a frame sized for the porch, with the stair run set to a comfortable rise and a landing where the porch sits high.
The floor comes from the same lines as the decks: Azek and other PVC boards, Trex, TimberTech or Fiberon composite, or cedar, pressure-treated lumber, mahogany or ipe for a homeowner who wants real wood. Railings come in Trex Signature, TimberTech, cable rail, aluminum picket and wood, and on an older house the railing profile is chosen to read as part of the house rather than an addition. Low-voltage stair and rail lighting is an option.
A porch can be screened, roofed or covered with an awning, and all three are built: the roof or the screen frame is designed with the porch, so the posts and the footings carry it from the start.

Patios
A paver patio is a masonry job, and Level Line treats it as one: Level Line designs the patio and manages the project, and a licensed masonry partner sets the pavers, in any major paver line, chosen with you and the partner at the estimate. The design is where the patio earns its keep, whether it runs off a deck at the same level, sits below a raised deck, or carries an outdoor kitchen beside the house.
Where a patio meets a deck the two are designed together, so the step down, the drainage and the run of the railing are settled before either is built. The permit for the patio and the deck is handled the same way, with Level Line guiding you through it in your town.

Wood or PVC for the porch floor?

PVC and composite boards from Azek, Trex, TimberTech and Fiberon resist rot, warping and fading without staining or sealing, which is why they are the usual choice on a porch that takes weather from three sides. Cedar, pressure-treated lumber, mahogany and ipe are the real-wood choices, with the upkeep natural wood asks for.
