Building decks in Seaford
Seaford is a compact South Shore community with a high share of owner-occupied detached homes and a substantial canal-front section in its southern half. As with the rest of the South Shore canals, waterfront jobs need salt-rated hardware and have to work around the bulkhead and flood elevation. Inland, the stock is capes and split-levels where a ground-level deck flowing into a paver patio is usually the most usable layout.
