Building decks in North Bellmore
North Bellmore is largely post-war capes, ranches and splits on regular suburban lots — houses that have usually been expanded once or twice over the years. Decks here are typically ground-level or one step down from a kitchen slider, and the real design question is how much of the yard to give up. We tend to lay these out so the deck still leaves usable lawn.
