Building decks in East Meadow
East Meadow is one of the biggest hamlets in Nassau and runs heavily to post-war capes, splits and expanded ranches on regular suburban lots. A lot of these houses have had a rear extension or a kitchen bump-out at some point, which is the detail that matters most: an addition changes where the ledger board can attach and how the deck has to step around the new footprint.
